1. Who is responsible
RunPlay Limited operates runplay.shop and is responsible for the personal data collected through this store. For privacy enquiries, access or correction requests, contact RunPlayLimited@outlook.com. 2. Information you provide
We process your name, email address, account username, password in hashed form, billing and shipping address, optional telephone number, product selections, order history and support messages. Do not include payment card details, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information in a contact message.
3. Technical information and essential cookies
Our hosting environment may record IP addresses, request times, browser information and error or security events. WordPress and WooCommerce use essential cookies for authentication, session security, shopping-bag contents and order processing. We do not currently install advertising or audience-analytics trackers. Browser settings can block or clear cookies, but sign-in and checkout may stop working.
4. Why we use data
We use information to create and protect accounts, retain shopping bags, record orders, administer payment status, arrange fulfillment when applicable, respond to enquiries, prevent misuse and meet legal or accounting obligations. Depending on the law that applies, the basis may be contract performance, a legal obligation, legitimate operational interests or consent where required.
5. Payment information
The current checkout records Pending payment orders and does not create a PayPal transaction or collect card details. If a live payment provider is introduced, the checkout and this notice will identify the relevant processing. We will not store full card numbers or security codes in this store.
6. Service providers and disclosure
Data is processed on our hosted WordPress/WooCommerce infrastructure. Hosting and security providers may process technical data for us. After a paid order is accepted, delivery providers receive the name, address and contact details needed for delivery. Our support email service handles messages you send directly to the published email address. We may disclose information when required by law or to establish or defend legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
7. Communications
We use contact information for your account, order and enquiries. Website forms save your message in a private support queue. Store email notifications are currently retained in a private administrative outbox while outbound email delivery is being configured. An on-screen success message confirms that a record was saved, not that an external email has been delivered. We do not currently offer marketing subscriptions.
8. International processing
Our company is based in Hong Kong. Hosting, support and future delivery providers may process data in other locations. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use the appropriate contractual or other lawful safeguards. Ask us for information about the providers involved in your order.
9. Retention
We retain account data while an account is active and thereafter only as needed for the purposes described. Orders and accounting records may be retained for periods required by applicable law. Support messages and technical logs are retained only while reasonably needed to resolve the matter, protect the service or satisfy legal duties, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Backup copies expire through the backup lifecycle.
10. Your choices and rights
You can review account information and orders in My account. You may ask for access, correction, deletion or an export, and exercise other rights available under applicable law, including objection, restriction or withdrawal of consent where relevant. We may need proportionate identity verification. Some records must remain for legal reasons; we will explain any applicable exception. You may contact the relevant data-protection authority, including Hong Kong’s Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data where appropriate.
11. Security
We use HTTPS, account access controls, password hashing and restricted administrative storage. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, keep it private and contact us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Contact-form abuse prevention may use short-lived identifiers derived from the requesting IP address.
12. Children
The store is intended for people able to enter a purchase contract. We do not knowingly collect children’s data for marketing. A parent or guardian should contact us if a child has provided personal information inappropriately.
13. External links and changes
Carrier or payment-provider links may lead to a separate site with its own privacy notice. We may update this policy as our services change and will show the revised date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
